FAQ’s
What to Keep in Mind
- Where exactly on the property you are going to have the container delivered.
- Whether or not permits are needed – In general, a permit won’t be necessary as long as you are able to place the dumpster on your own private property, such as your driveway or other area you own. Standard places that are considered public access areas, such as Sidewalks, and Parking Lots and Street areas may fall under municipal guidelines and a permit is needed for container placement. Contact the appropriate Public Works Office in your County for any permits. Go on-line to their website, fill out necessary form for the permit.
- Check Height requirements – Need at least 18 foot of vertical clearance to deliver container. Make sure to choose a drop spot with no low hanging tree branches or power lines.
- Homeowners Association – Check with your HOA to find out about any restrictions you may need to conform to.
- How heavy the waste substances are – Concrete or asphalt will increase weight quickly. Dumpster will have Fill Line for Heavy Waste.
